Kapiti Computers is a mobile computer repair and IT support service run by Samuel Coulson, a lifelong Kāpiti resident. If you need fast, reliable help with a computer, laptop, phone, tablet, smart TV, home Wi-Fi, printer, scanner, gaming console, smart home devices, storage devices, monitors, peripherals, Bluetooth devices, streaming devices, home networking equipment, and much much more, we come directly to you.

We are open 8:00am to 10:00pm, seven days a week, which means tech problems can be dealt with in the evening or at the weekend rather than only between nine and five.

Travel is $30 within the Kāpiti Coast, $50 to Levin or Porirua, or $60 south of Porirua or north of Levin for anywhere else still inside the area shown above. Remote support is available anywhere in New Zealand with no travel charge. Hourly rates are listed on the home page.

Mobile Computer Repairs & Onsite IT Support

If your computer has become slow, unreliable or refuses to start, we provide onsite repairs anywhere on the Kāpiti Coast. Instead of packing up your equipment and taking it to a shop, we come to your home or office in Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Raumati or Ōtaki. We work with every major computer platform, including Windows, macOS and older machines that still need to stay operational. New Computer Setup & Data Migration

Buying a new computer should feel exciting rather than overwhelming. We offer complete new-device setup throughout the Kāpiti Coast, including Paraparaumu Beach, Waikanae Beach and Raumati South. We install essential software, configure internet and email, transfer documents, photos and passwords from your old device, and make sure everything works the way you expect. If your computer is a few years old but otherwise in good condition, an upgrade can dramatically extend its life. We install SSDs, add memory, replace graphics cards where applicable, and tune performance. Many systems, especially older laptops and desktops, run like new with the right upgrade.
